I wanted to share a quick Top 5 Tips for Going Cruelty Free with you. I get a lot of questions about the easiest way to go cruelty free, and these are the 5 most important things to know about going cruelty free. I’m not one of those people who tries to shame anyone into going cruelty free (or doing anything for that matter) but I do believe in leading by example, which is why I always feature cruelty free brands and raise awareness for cruelty free beauty. I know it can be really overwhelming when you first start out and you’re trying to figure out how to know if a brand is cruelty free, so I hope this quick video helps. Thank you for this! I remember when I first went cruelty free a year ago I laid out all my products and divided them into cruelty and cruelty free. I was so discouraged bc I thought I had to throw away half my collection. So glad I didn’t and now I have used up almost everything not cruelty free.

Loving your hair and makeup in this video. Your tips are great. I think it’s awesome that you, Jen, and Tashina have conversations about brands. The three of you have been very helpful during my transition. I don’t trust the PETA logo either, in my opinion they are a terrible company.

Thank you! This is a great list and will be a great resource to share with people who are interested in going cruelty free.

First, your hair and makeup are on fleek! ๐Ÿ™‚ Secondly, thank you for the tips. I’m new to makeup, and even newer to choosing cruelty-free and vegan options, and it really helps to have a starting point for reference besides the brands’ websites. I often feel weird about being concerned about it in the products I buy, especially since I’m not vegan, but I figure I have to start somewhere, as I am with doing makeup. I plan to compile my list, hopefully over the weekend, so I can cross-reference the brands I own and which ones I need to avoid going forward. Thanks again for sharing!

So happy to help! Btw, I always list the date I last updated my list and I typically update it weekly
